Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data Booksr collects, how it is used, how it is protected, and your rights regarding that data.
1. Data We Collect
Booksr collects the following information to provide its service:
(a) Account registration data — your name and email address, collected during onboarding and stored on our secure backend server.
(b) Amazon SP-API tokens — OAuth access and refresh tokens used to interact with Amazon's API on your behalf, stored securely on our server and never shared with third parties.
(c) Listing data — your Amazon book listing prices, conditions, and competitor pricing data, accessed via SP-API and used solely to perform repricing.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data exclusively to: provide and operate the Booksr repricing service; authenticate your Amazon SP-API connection; and respond to your support requests. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your account data and SP-API tokens are stored on our backend server hosted on Railway (railway.app) using industry-standard security practices. Extension settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. We implement appropriate technical safeguards to protect your data against unauthorized access.
4. Amazon SP-API Data
Booksr accesses your Amazon seller data (listings, pricing, inventory) strictly within the scope you authorize via Amazon's OAuth flow. This data is used only to perform the repricing actions you configure. We comply with Amazon's Data Protection Policy (DPP) and do not use SP-API data for any purpose beyond providing Booksr's core functionality.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at nitechprollc@gmail.com and we will process your request within 30 days. You may revoke Booksr's Amazon SP-API access at any time through Amazon Seller Central → Apps & Services → Manage Your Apps.
6. Third-Party Services
Booksr uses Railway (railway.app) as its hosting infrastructure. No third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers are integrated into Booksr.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data held by us. To exercise these rights, contact nitechprollc@gmail.com. If you are located in a jurisdiction with applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA), additional rights may apply.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice within the extension. Continued use of Booksr after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
